Sunita Tools Limited has announced the establishment of a full-time office in the United States through its wholly owned subsidiary, Sarita Defence Inc. The new office is located at 401 N Michigan Avenue, Suite 1200, Chicago, Illinois, marking a strategic step in the company’s international expansion and entry into the U.S. defence and aerospace market.
The subsidiary has been set up with a clear mandate to participate in bidding, quoting, and supplying defence products to US based organisations. It will also explore opportunities for acquisitions and partnerships across the defence, aerospace, and engineering sectors, strengthening the company’s global presence and capabilities.
Sarita Defence Inc will be led by Abheshek Satish Pandey, an aerospace and astronautics engineer with academic training from the United Kingdom and a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems and Business Analytics from the United States. His background and industry exposure position him to lead business development efforts, build relationships with leading US companies, and identify strategic growth opportunities in advanced manufacturing and defence technologies.
With over 37 years of experience, Sunita Tools Limited has built a strong foundation in the engineering and mould base industry. The company specialises in the manufacture of ground plates, mould bases, and precision CNC machined components, delivering customised solutions across a wide range of sectors. Its products serve industries including automotive, pharmaceuticals, electronics, consumer goods, aerospace, and defence.
The company has also entered the defence manufacturing space with the production of 155 mm M107 artillery shells and has secured an interim sales contract for the same.
