Upholding its long-standing commitment to community service, Sumeet Group Enterprises has launched a major cleanliness drive in Pandharpur during the annual Kartik Vari pilgrimage. As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the Group deployed a team of 500 sanitation workers, supported by advanced cleaning tools and equipment, to ensure the holy town remains clean and hygienic throughout the festivities.
Each year, Sumeet Group undertakes this initiative to assist local authorities in maintaining cleanliness and public hygiene during the Bhagwat Ekadashi celebrations in the sacred month of Kartik, as per the Marathi calendar. The five-day-long drive mirrors the Group’s similar initiative conducted annually during Ashadhi Ekadashi, another major pilgrimage period in Pandharpur.
Through this sustained effort, Sumeet Group aims to create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for the thousands of devotees who visit the temple town during the yatra.
