STUDDS Accessories Ltd has introduced a limited-edition Nardo Grey collection across seven helmet models to mark India’s 80th Independence Day. The company has produced only 1,947 units of the special edition in gloss and matt finishes, with the number representing 1947, the year India gained independence.

The new collection brings the Nardo Grey shade to a range of helmets designed for different riding needs. STUDDS said the colour was chosen for its association with performance vehicles and its understated, functional appearance. The Independence Day launch also draws inspiration from the grey tones associated with India’s defence forces. STUDDS has positioned the collection under the theme “The Colour of Honour”, linking the colour with strength, discipline and resilience.

Sidhartha Bhushan Khurana, Managing Director, STUDDS Accessories Ltd, said the country’s armed forces represent strength, discipline and resilience, and the company wanted to bring the same spirit to everyday riders through the special edition.

The limited-edition collection includes seven models: Helios, Trooper, Ninja Elite Super, Drifter, Raider Super, Vogue and Ray Super. The Helios is a full-face helmet designed for highway riders, while the Trooper features a modular design and dual-visor system. The Ninja Elite Super offers a flip-up design for riders using their motorcycles in both city and highway conditions.

The Drifter is a street-focused full-face helmet with ventilation, while the Raider Super is a lightweight full-face model aimed at daily commuters. The Vogue is an open-face helmet designed for city riding, while the Ray Super offers a wider field of vision and is designed for extended urban use.

All seven helmets comply with Indian safety standards under ISI/BIS certification. Two models also carry DOT certification. The range features high-impact thermoplastic outer shells, regulated-density EPS liners, UV-resistant lacquer, breathable comfort padding and quick-release micrometric chin straps.

The launch forms the centrepiece of STUDDS’ Independence Day campaign, #TheColourOfHonour, which is being promoted across social media platforms. The company is also supporting a group of riders undertaking a journey from Bihar to Nepal as part of the campaign.

Only 1,947 units of the Nardo Grey collection have been made available. The helmets are being distributed through authorised STUDDS dealers across India and will be available at retail outlets. Customers can also check availability through the company’s online store.
