The company has also made considerable advancements in the UK, reinforcing its international presence.
This demerger aligns with STL’s long-term vision to create two agile and specialized entities, allowing both STL and STL Networks to focus on their distinct customer segments. The separation is expected to increase growth potential, enhance operational efficiency, and provide greater value to investors. Leadership teams with proven expertise will guide both companies through this transition. Rahul Puri will continue as CEO of the Optical Networking Business at STL, while Pankaj Malik will lead STL Networks as its CEO.

Post-demerger, STL Networks will take over the recently awarded INR ~2600 Cr Bharatnet project in Jammu and Kashmir, further expanding its presence in large-scale digital deployments.
