SMK Helmets has introduced Agnar Revv, a new graphic design for its Agnar full-face helmet range, first launched in 2024. The new decal features parallel lines inspired by a rev counter, combined with angular panels and contrasting colours. The helmet retains the existing Agnar platform’s ventilation system, dual-visor arrangement and safety specifications.
The Agnar Revv is available in six colour options across gloss and matte finishes, with sizes ranging from XS to XXL. Prices start at ₹6,700, inclusive of all taxes, and the helmet will be sold through SMK’s authorised dealer network. The company said details of availability on online platforms would be announced separately.
The helmet is built using two dedicated outer shell sizes rather than a single shell adapted to different head sizes through additional padding. According to SMK, this approach helps provide a more proportionate fit, reduce unnecessary bulk and support consistent protection across the size range.
The outer shell is made from EIRT (Energy Impact Resistant Thermoplastic) and is paired with a multi-density expanded polystyrene (EPS) liner. The helmet is certified to ECE 22.06, DOT and ISI standards. The Agnar’s ventilation system comprises 21 vents connected through channelled air intakes and exhausts. The design is intended to manage heat build-up while controlling airflow around the shell to help reduce wind noise. The helmet’s construction and ventilation system are carried forward in the Revv version.
The dual-visor arrangement includes a scratch-resistant outer visor with a one-touch quick-release mechanism and a retractable internal sun visor for changing light conditions. In India, the helmet comes with a Pinlock 30 lens fitted as standard. Its visor is also compatible with the Pinlock 70 lens used as standard in SMK’s international markets. Other features include a removable, washable and hypoallergenic inner liner and a double D-ring strap closure.
The Revv graphic uses fine parallel lines running across the crown and towards the visor, echoing the movement of a rev counter needle. The design is combined with contrasting colour panels, with the SMK wordmark on the sides and the Agnar name on the chin bar. The six colourways offer options ranging from dark bases with bright orange, red or blue accents to lighter grey and white finishes.
Varun Chopra, Vice President – IT and Creative Design at SMK, said the Agnar range combines styling with certified safety, ventilation and everyday comfort. He said the Revv graphic adds a new visual option for riders while retaining the platform’s existing features.
SMK helmets are designed at the company’s European design studio and manufactured at its facilities in India. The company said the Agnar requires a more involved assembly process than many other full-face helmets in its range, taking approximately two-and-a-half to three times as long to manufacture.
SMK helmets are currently sold in more than 40 countries. The company said the latest safety rating strengthens its efforts to position Indian helmet engineering alongside established global manufacturers. SMK is the premium helmet brand of Studds Accessories Limited and has nearly five decades of manufacturing experience. Its manufacturing facilities have a combined annualised production capacity of 9.04 million helmets.
