SENNEBOGEN will present a comprehensive range of advanced machinery and technologies for modern recycling and material handling at IFAT 2026, the world’s leading trade fair for environmental technologies. The exhibition will take place from May 4 to 7 in Munich, where the company will occupy a large display area in Hall C5 as well as participate in live demonstrations at the VDMA outdoor zone.
Visitors to the SENNEBOGEN stand will have the opportunity to explore a diverse portfolio of equipment designed for recycling, demolition, and material handling applications. A total of eight machines will be on display, including material handlers, demolition excavators, and telescopic loaders, each highlighting the company’s focus on performance, adaptability, and sustainability.
A key highlight of the exhibition will be the debut of the MG4.1 orange peel grab, the first such attachment fully developed and manufactured in-house by SENNEBOGEN. Designed primarily for scrap handling, the five-shell grab is available in capacities ranging from 600 to 1,200 liters. The new product reflects decades of engineering experience and is intended to deliver optimized performance through seamless integration with SENNEBOGEN machines.
The company will also feature its latest generation of material handlers, including the 830 G-series model equipped with a 17-meter boom and the new MG4.1 grab. This machine introduces new sustainability-focused options, including the use of low-carbon steel that significantly reduces emissions during production. In addition, it can be fitted with a hybrid energy recovery system that captures and reuses energy generated during boom movement. This technology, already proven in larger machines, can reduce fuel consumption by up to 30 percent.
Another major attraction is the 824 G Electro Battery material handler, which represents SENNEBOGEN’s push toward zero-emission operations. With a reach of 12 meters, this fully electric machine operates without direct CO₂ emissions. Its modular battery system allows operators to configure energy capacity based on specific operational needs, with the option to add battery packs over time. The machine can also function while connected to a power source, ensuring uninterrupted performance in demanding environments.
In the telescopic loader segment, the 360 G model will be showcased with a 6 cubic meter bucket and several new features. Among these is an innovative joystick steering system, offering operators the choice between traditional steering, joystick control, or a combination of both. Additional upgrades include an enhanced boom design for improved durability, a redesigned operator seat for greater comfort, and advanced safety features such as a camera system with person detection.
SENNEBOGEN will also present a version of its telescopic loader in collaboration with LINDE, equipped with a multifunctional boom suitable for municipal applications. This configuration supports a variety of attachments, enabling year-round use across different tasks.
Live demonstrations at the VDMA outdoor area will further showcase the capabilities of SENNEBOGEN machines in real-world scenarios. Equipment on display will include recycling excavators, electric material handlers, and telescopic loaders operating in biomass handling and demolition applications.
With its presence at IFAT 2026, SENNEBOGEN aims to highlight its commitment to innovation and sustainability in the recycling sector. By combining efficient machinery with environmentally conscious design, the company continues to support the transition toward more resource-efficient industrial processes.
