Schneider Electric Infrastructure Limited (SEIL), part of the Schneider Electric Group, reported its highest-ever quarterly order intake of Rs. 915 crore for the first quarter of FY27, supported by strong demand from data centres, semiconductors and other emerging sectors. The company reported revenue of Rs. 651 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, representing growth of 4.8 percent year-on-year. Revenue increased 10.4 percent compared with the fourth quarter of FY26.
SEIL’s order backlog stood at Rs. 2,169 crore as of June 30, 2026, an increase of 32.7 percent from the same period last year. The strong backlog provides visibility for future revenue as the company progresses with the execution of recently secured projects. EBIT for the quarter stood at Rs. 32.1 crore, compared with Rs. 66.7 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The company said profitability was affected by commodity price volatility and delays in passing higher input costs through on certain legacy projects.
Deepak Sharma, Zone President – Greater India, Schneider Electric, and Board Director, Schneider Electric Infrastructure Limited, said the company’s record order intake reflects strong customer relationships and growing opportunities across established and emerging markets.
He said India’s continued electrification, industrial modernisation and digital transformation are creating opportunities for technology-led energy solutions. The company remains focused on disciplined execution, portfolio development and growth in high-demand segments.
Udai Singh, Managing Director and CEO, Schneider Electric Infrastructure Limited, said the first quarter demonstrated the company’s market position through record order intake, revenue growth and expansion of its order backlog. He added that strong demand across key sectors supports the company’s growth strategy, while the business remains focused on improving operational performance and project execution. A healthy pipeline and strong backlog are expected to support future growth.
SEIL designs, manufactures, constructs and services products and systems used across electricity networks. Its portfolio includes transformers, switchgear, ring main units, circuit breakers, relays, automation solutions, services and smart grid software. SEIL’s solutions are supported by Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure architecture, which combines connected products, software and digital technologies to improve energy management and operational performance. The company said its record order intake during Q1 FY27 reflects growing demand for reliable and efficient electricity infrastructure. The strong order backlog is expected to support project execution in the coming quarters.
Schneider Electric Infrastructure Limited was incorporated in 2011 and focuses on products and systems for electricity networks. Its operations form part of Schneider Electric’s wider global energy technology business. With India continuing to invest in electrification, digital infrastructure and industrial capacity, SEIL expects demand for advanced energy management and electrical infrastructure solutions to remain strong across both traditional and emerging sectors.
