Schneider Electric and Hon Hai Technology Group (Foxconn) have announced a strategic collaboration aimed at accelerating the development and deployment of next-generation artificial intelligence (AI) data centers worldwide. The partnership brings together Foxconn’s expertise in AI computing platforms, systems integration, and large-scale manufacturing with Schneider Electric’s capabilities in energy management, power distribution, cooling technologies, and digital infrastructure solutions. Together, the companies plan to deliver integrated solutions that simplify the design, construction, and operation of AI-focused facilities while improving efficiency, scalability, and speed to deployment.
As demand for AI continues to rise across industries, data center operators face increasing challenges related to power consumption, cooling requirements, and infrastructure complexity. The collaboration seeks to address these challenges through standardized architectures and integrated technologies designed specifically for high-performance AI workloads.
“AI is transforming how digital infrastructure is built and operated,” said Young Liu, Chairman of Foxconn. “By combining advanced manufacturing expertise with energy and infrastructure innovation, we aim to help organizations deploy AI capacity more efficiently and at greater scale.”
The companies will work together on the development of next-generation reference designs for AI facilities, providing customers with proven frameworks that can reduce deployment timelines and improve operational consistency across multiple regions. The collaboration will also explore modular approaches to power and cooling infrastructure, enabling faster construction and greater flexibility as AI demand evolves.
According to Schneider Electric, energy efficiency and intelligent resource management will be central to the future of AI infrastructure. As computing density increases, ensuring reliable and sustainable operations becomes critical for organizations investing in large-scale AI deployments.
“AI growth requires a new approach to infrastructure that combines performance, resilience, and energy intelligence,” said Olivier Blum, Chief Executive Officer of Schneider Electric. “Our collaboration with Foxconn creates an opportunity to bring together advanced technologies that help customers scale AI operations while improving efficiency and sustainability.”
The initiative will focus on delivering repeatable, high-performance infrastructure blueprints that support rapid expansion without compromising reliability. Areas of exploration include integrated power systems, advanced cooling technologies, digital monitoring capabilities, and energy optimization strategies designed to support continuous operations.
By aligning manufacturing excellence with intelligent energy management, Schneider Electric and Foxconn are establishing a framework for a new generation of AI facilities. The collaboration is expected to support customers worldwide as they build the infrastructure needed to meet growing demand for AI applications, data processing, and next-generation digital services.
