Schneider Electric, a global energy technology company, has announced new home energy products developed in collaboration with Apple. The additions include a Smart Thermostat designed for Apple Home Collection and a Power Mount created specifically for the Apple HomeView wall-mounted device. The products will be part of Schneider Electric’s Schneider Home portfolio, which focuses on connected home energy management.

The collaboration combines Schneider Electric’s expertise in electrical systems and energy management with Apple’s connected home ecosystem. The new products aim to improve comfort, simplify device control and help homeowners manage energy use through Apple Home.

The Smart Thermostat has been designed to provide temperature control through the Apple Home app, including an Adaptive Temperature feature intended to balance comfort and energy management. Users can also adjust settings through Siri on compatible Apple devices. Its metal bezel has a silver finish, while the translucent display is designed to reduce glare. Built-in sensors and optional Room Sensors allow the system to monitor temperature and humidity and respond to conditions inside the home.

The thermostat also supports Apple’s Clean Energy Guidance feature through EnergyKit, which enables grid forecast functionality in the Apple Home app in supported regions. NFC-based tap-to-pair functionality is designed to simplify setup using an iPhone. Matter compatibility and Thread connectivity support integration with connected home systems, while end-to-end encryption protects home data within Apple Home.

Schneider Electric’s new Power Mount has been developed for Apple HomeView wall-mounted installations. It will be available in three configurations: USB-C Wall Connector, AC Wired and Power over Ethernet (PoE) Wired. Precision magnets hold the device securely in place. The wired versions are designed to support installations with concealed cables, while the PoE option carries power and data through an Ethernet cable.

Olivier Blum, CEO of Schneider Electric, said the collaboration brings energy management and connected home technology together to make household energy use easier to understand and control. Matthew Costello, Apple’s Vice President of Hardware Engineering, said the products combine Schneider Electric’s energy expertise with Apple’s approach to simple, intuitive and privacy-focused experiences.

Schneider Home also includes energy-related products such as electric vehicle chargers, circuit breakers, electrical panels, uninterruptible power supplies and connected wiring devices. The company’s wider vision is to help these systems work together, enabling homeowners to better manage electricity consumption across heating, cooling, charging and other household needs.

Customers in the United States and Canada will be able to purchase the Smart Thermostat and Room Sensors through the Apple Store beginning early next year. The suggested retail prices are US$199.99 for the thermostat and US$39.99 for each Room Sensor.

The USB-C Wall Connector and AC Wired Power Mounts will be available through Apple.com in Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States. Retail-store availability begins on November 13, 2026. In India, the AC Wired Power Mount will be available later. The PoE Wired Power Mount is expected early next year.

Schneider Electric operates in more than 100 countries, with approximately 160,000 employees and one million partners worldwide. The company develops technologies for buildings, homes, data centres, infrastructure and industry, with a focus on electrification, automation and digitalisation.
