Schaeffler India, a pioneer in motion technology, is set to present its latest advancements in bearing solutions and industrial innovations for the railway sector at the 15th International Railway Equipment Exhibition (IREE) 2025. This event will take place from October 15–17, 2025, at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, with Schaeffler showcasing its solutions at Hall 3, Booth 3.30. As a trusted technology partner, Schaeffler India aims to reinforce its presence in the Indian railway market while supporting the government’s “Atmanirbhar Bharat” initiative. The company’s participation highlights its local manufacturing efforts and its commitment to contributing to the nation’s expanding rail infrastructure.
At the event, Schaeffler will present a comprehensive range of innovative solutions tailored for the railway and industrial sectors. This includes the TAROL Bearings, which are compact and easy-to-install tapered roller bearings for railway axle boxes, designed to offer exceptional durability with minimal maintenance. Also on display will be CRU Bearings, cylindrical roller bearing units specifically engineered for locomotive axles, delivering high reliability and simplified installation processes.
Visitors will also see Current Insulated Bearings, which feature special coatings to protect against electrical damage, ideal for use in motors and generators. Additionally, Schaeffler will showcase its durable bearing housings, which help extend the service life of bearings, as well as high-performance lubrication greases that reduce friction, lower wear, and extend intervals between maintenance.
For superior protection against contamination, Schaeffler will exhibit its Class C/D/K Seals, which provide advanced sealing solutions. The booth will also feature the Condition Monitoring Display Kit, offering cutting-edge technology for predictive bearing maintenance, ensuring that potential issues are detected early to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency. The booth will also feature prominent global and Indian leadership figures, including Dr Michael Holzapfel, Global Sector Lead for Rail Bearings & Industrial Solutions at Schaeffler, and Seshan Iyer, President of Bearings & Industrial Solutions at Schaeffler India.
