Sasken Technologies Limited, a product and digital engineering services provider, reported consolidated revenue of ₹320.95 crore for the second quarter of FY27, up 25.6% year-on-year. Consolidated earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) rose to ₹28.49 crore, while profit after tax (PAT) increased to ₹25.59 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2026.
Revenue declined 5.4% sequentially, mainly due to lower shipment volumes in the Product Solutions business amid continued component supply constraints. However, the company recorded a strong improvement in profitability, with EBIT increasing 31.2% over the previous quarter and 394.3% year-on-year. EBIT margin stood at 8.9%, while PAT margin was 8%. PAT increased 8.8% sequentially and 143.8% year-on-year. Earnings per share stood at ₹16.14, and cash and cash equivalents totalled ₹398.8 crore at the end of the quarter.
Software Services remained the main growth driver, with revenue increasing 15% sequentially and 34% year-on-year. Growth was supported by increased participation in strategic customer programmes and demand across automotive, semiconductors, communications, connected devices and AI-led engineering.
Product Solutions revenue declined 42% sequentially but increased 2.4% year-on-year, reflecting lower shipments caused by component availability constraints. Sasken said tightness in the global memory market, partly driven by demand from AI infrastructure, continued to affect component allocation, costs and production planning.
The company reported a quarterly order book of $47.3 million, including $24.8 million in new business and four new customer wins. These included a multi-year engineering engagement with a European automotive group for next-generation telematics, an asset-tracking solution, cockpit and advanced driver-assistance systems programmes for a European automotive manufacturer, and engineering services for an Indian electric vehicle company. Sasken also secured a semiconductor intellectual property engagement covering radio frequency, power management, audio and analogue design through tapeout, silicon validation and production support.
Rajiv C Mody, Chairman and Managing Director of Sasken Technologies, said the company was building stronger customer partnerships and expanding its role beyond execution to contribute to product roadmaps and innovation. He highlighted its Chip-to-Cognition capabilities as a key part of its strategy.
During the quarter, Sasken and Borqs continued measures to improve component sourcing, supplier availability and production planning. The company also launched Juniper Alta, a device developed from concept to shipment within 18 months, and secured an expanded mandate for turnkey development and lifecycle management of a product for a major hyperscaler.
Sasken continued investing in talent development, GenAI capabilities and employee training. It also reported external recognition across workplace practices, environmental sustainability, corporate social responsibility and inclusion. As it enters the second half of FY27, the company plans to focus on sustaining Software Services growth, converting recent orders into long-term programmes and improving the stability of its business mix.
