Through this collaboration with the Karnataka government, the Innovation Campus will provide students in rural areas with access to cutting-edge technologies and hands-on training, thereby equipping them with the skills they need to succeed in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
The Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) program is a global initiative to promote innovation in IoT and AI and address the skills gap by training the next generation in cutting-edge technologies. The program focuses on skilling Gen Z students in new-age technologies, enhancing their employability and preparing them for the future of work. Through the SIC program, Samsung aims to spark a technological revolution by offering students a comprehensive understanding of the latest technologies and the opportunity to collaborate with Samsung engineers. By bridging the proficiency gaps, SIC is creating a platform for young students to learn and innovate, thus paving the way for a brighter future.
The program will include all the adequate facilities, required kits, and equipments along with IoT and AI based training for students as per the SIC module. This will further enable an ecosystem of innovation for students to thrive and help them develop industry-capable skills as part of their learning curriculum. Under a multidisciplinary approach, students will be provided with a space to solve local problems through practical experience working in the field of agriculture, healthcare, manufacturing, water, and energy management.
