RSWM Limited, the flagship company of the LNJ Bhilwara Group, unveiled its Sustainability Report for FY 2024-25, showcasing significant milestones in its journey towards responsible growth. The report was released by Riju Jhunjhunwala, Chairman & Managing Director and CEO, along with Rajeev Gupta, Joint Managing Director, underlining the company’s pledge to embed sustainability at the core of its operations.

Guided by Panchtatva—a framework inspired by the five natural elements—RSWM has achieved notable progress across water conservation, energy transition, circularity, and community impact. Over the past year, the company conserved 22.3 lakh kilolitres of water and achieved 100% reuse of treated wastewater through advanced Zero Liquid Discharge systems. On the energy front, 101.76 million kW of solar and wind power was utilized, raising green energy share to 33%, above India’s national average of 31%. To further reduce fossil fuel dependence, 14,714 MT of biofuels were consumed, with a clear roadmap to transition all boilers across manufacturing plants to biofuel.

Driving circularity, RSWM recycled 43,250 MT of PET bottles, equal to 6.5 million bottles each day. This supported the production of 38,270 MT of recycled polyester and 11,674 MT of organic cotton, creating sustainable yarns and fabrics. In addition, 91,611 kg of organic manure was applied to nurture soil health.

Speaking on the company’s vision, Mr Jhunjhunwala said: “At RSWM, sustainability is both responsibility and opportunity. Guided by Panchtatva, we are reimagining the textile industry by embedding renewable energy, rethinking waste as a resource, and designing processes that minimize impact while building resilience. Our goal is to create a cleaner, stronger, and more equitable future.”

Mr Gupta added: “Our initiatives are built on the legacy of LN Jhunjhunwala ji, who emphasized the integration of profitability with responsibility. We continue to increase our share of green energy, expand PET recycling capacity, implement water management strategies, and scale circular practices, ensuring sustainability is woven into every level of our business.”

On the social front, RSWM’s CSR programmes benefited 2.44 lakh individuals in FY25. The company also reported zero corruption cases, reflecting its commitment to ethical governance. Women’s participation across the workforce and leadership levels continues to grow, ensuring diversity and inclusivity in decision-making.

RSWM’s sustainability journey is reinforced by global certifications, including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, SA 8000:2014, Global Recycle Standard (GRS), OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, and Organic Content Standard (OCS). These credentials demonstrate compliance with global benchmarks for environmental responsibility, labour standards, and governance.
