Rohde & Schwarz, a leading provider of electronic test and measurement equipment, has successfully contributed to a safe and secure environment at the 59th Munich Security Conference (MSC). More than 450 international participants attended the conference, which featured over 50 events, making it a high-profile event that required advanced security measures.
To ensure the safety of attendees, Rohde & Schwarz provided six of its R&S QPS Walk2000 security scanners, which were stationed at each entrance. With over 20,000 scans performed throughout the conference, the R&S QPS Walk2000 proved to be a highly efficient and reliable security solution, capable of detecting items of any material with its 360° walk-through capability.
Unlike traditional walk-through metal detectors, the R&S QPS Walk2000 allows multiple layers of clothing and a natural walking posture, thus providing a highly convenient and touchless screening process. The system uses non-invasive, extremely low radiation to penetrate clothing, eliminating the need for time-consuming removal of outer garments. The AI-based detection software identifies objects of any material automatically, and it displays the results precisely in real-time on a gender-neutral avatar and LED stripes, ensuring the utmost protection of privacy while minimizing the need for secondary screening.
Rohde & Schwarz expressed pride in being part of the Munich Security Conference and remains committed to providing outstanding security solutions for future exclusive events.
