Rockwell Automation, Inc has been named one of the 2026 World’s Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere, marking the 18th time the company has earned a place on the global list. The annual recognition highlights organisations that demonstrate strong standards in ethics, governance and compliance while maintaining a culture of integrity across operations. This year’s list includes 138 companies spanning 17 countries and 40 industries, with Rockwell among a select group representing the diversified machinery sector.

The recognition reflects the company’s long-standing focus on ethical business conduct and transparent practices. Rockwell Automation has built a framework that emphasises accountability, responsible decision-making and adherence to global compliance standards. Its governance systems are supported by clearly defined policies and internal controls designed to guide employees at every level.

A key element of the company’s approach is its emphasis on fostering an open and accountable workplace culture. The organisation encourages employees to raise concerns and share feedback through established channels, including its Ombuds program, which has been in place for four decades. This initiative plays an important role in strengthening trust and reinforcing ethical behaviour across teams.

Training and awareness also form a central part of the company’s strategy. All employees, contractors and members of the Board of Directors are required to complete annual ethics training, ensuring consistent understanding of compliance expectations and organisational values.

Leadership at Rockwell Automation has reiterated that ethical conduct is integral to the company’s operations and long-term success. The recognition is seen as a reflection of how employees consistently apply these principles in their daily work, contributing to strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Ethisphere’s evaluation process assesses companies based on multiple criteria, including corporate governance, ethical culture, environmental and social impact, and compliance practices. Companies that demonstrate a comprehensive and integrated approach to these areas are selected for inclusion in the list.
