RoadGrid has raised ₹12 crore in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures, with participation from Venture Catalysts, FAAD Network, LetsVenture, Skyline Group’s Kamal Puri, Pace Group’s Vrinda Goyal, Arthanomics’ Haresh Patel, and Alpha Value’s Maneesh Shrivastav. The funding will be used to expand RoadGrid’s electric vehicle charging operations and manufacturing capacity as the company works to address India’s growing demand for charging infrastructure. RoadGrid operates in two areas: manufacturing EV chargers for original equipment manufacturers and setting up and operating public and commercial charging stations.
On the manufacturing side, the company supplies off-board and fast DC chargers for two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers. In parallel, it runs charging stations under a Charging-as-a-Service model. Active deployments include projects in Indore, Noida, and with Indian Oil Corporation, along with confirmed orders from utilities such as BSES, NPCL, and Navi Mumbai Transport. The company currently has a confirmed pipeline of more than 1,000 chargers.
RoadGrid has also partnered with Vgreen, the charging arm of VinFast, to support the development of EV charging infrastructure at HPCL retail outlets. In addition, the company is providing technical support for VinFast’s aftersales charging network in India.
To date, RoadGrid has completed more than 100 installations across Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Karnataka for clients including IOCL, Amazon, BSES, and NPCL, with deployments in cities such as Lucknow, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. The EV charging market in India is currently estimated at ₹5,000 crore and is expected to grow significantly over the next six years. The founding team includes Deepesh Shrinath (Founder & CEO), Shashank Narayan (CTO), Chandraprakash Akotkar (COO), and Bharat Joshi (CMO), bringing experience across EV infrastructure, engineering, operations, and large-scale project execution.
Inflection Point Ventures stated that the investment reflects the need for reliable charging infrastructure to support EV adoption, while RoadGrid said the capital will support expansion of charging networks across vehicle categories and regions. RoadGrid is an Indian EV charging technology company dedicated to developing patented universal charging solutions, intelligent cloud-enabled software, and a robust nationwide charging infrastructure. Founded by seasoned industry professionals with extensive experience in electrical infrastructure, renewable energy, electric mobility, and large-scale project delivery, RoadGrid aims to make electric mobility seamless, sustainable, and widely accessible across India.
