RM Drip and Sprinklers Systems Limited has approved a major expansion of its manufacturing capacity, marking an important step in the company’s growth strategy. The expansion is expected to increase the company’s overall production capacity by approximately 50%, enabling it to better serve rising demand across irrigation, infrastructure and industrial markets.
The Board of Directors has approved the establishment of a new manufacturing facility through Brahmanand Pipes Private Limited, a proposed wholly owned subsidiary of the company. The facility will be set up at Sinnar in Nashik district, Maharashtra, and will have an installed capacity of around 12,000 metric tonnes per annum. The new unit will significantly enhance RM Drip’s manufacturing footprint and operational flexibility.
According to the company, the expansion is intended to support higher order inflows from both public and private sector customers. It is also expected to improve asset utilisation and operating leverage, which should contribute to a stronger margin profile over the medium to long term. The additional capacity will allow the company to participate more actively in large government and institutional projects, particularly those linked to agriculture, water management and rural infrastructure.
The new facility will manufacture a wide range of products catering to multiple end-use segments. These include drip irrigation systems, HDPE pipes for water supply and irrigation projects, drainage and sewerage pipelines, telecom pipes and ducts, industrial piping solutions, mulching products for modern agriculture, and specialised micro-irrigation moulded components and accessories. This diversified product portfolio is expected to reduce dependence on any single segment while positioning the company to benefit from structural demand drivers such as agricultural modernisation, water infrastructure development, telecom network expansion and industrial capital expenditure.
Commenting on the development, Nivrutti Pandurang Kedar, Managing Director of RM Drip and Sprinklers Systems Limited, said the expansion would support sustained revenue growth and strengthen the company’s execution capabilities. He noted that demand visibility from government-led infrastructure programmes and agriculture-focused initiatives provides confidence in long-term growth prospects.
RM Drip and Sprinklers Systems Limited operates an extensive distribution network across several Indian states and also supplies products as an original equipment manufacturer to irrigation and sub-assembly manufacturers. The company has recently expanded its presence in water supply infrastructure after being enlisted as a vendor with Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran, enabling participation in large public water projects.
Incorporated in 2004, RM Drip and Sprinklers Systems Limited is engaged in the design, manufacture and installation of micro-irrigation systems and related components. The company stated that the new capacity will help it strengthen its market position while supporting long-term value creation for stakeholders.
