Replus Engitech and Hero Future Energies Sign EPC Contract for 250MWh Battery Storage Project

Replus Engitech Private Limited and Hero Future Energies have signed a contract to develop 250MWh of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. This contract includes designing, engineering, installing, and commissioning these projects.

The projects will be located in Gujarat, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh and will be completed over the next 18 months. These BESS projects will work with existing solar and wind energy systems to improve the efficiency of renewable energy.

Hiren Pravin Shah, Executive Director and CEO of Replus, said the company plans to grow significantly in the next two years, benefiting from this partnership.

Riju Jhunjhunwala, chairman of Replus and Bhilwara Energy Limited, stated that both companies aim to improve the energy landscape by focusing on efficiency and reliability.

Replus Engitech has already completed 28MWh of battery energy storage projects in India and abroad. They are also developing two 18MWh BESS Microgrids in Congo and Saudi Arabia.
