Ramco Systems, a global leader in aviation software solutions, has announced plans to implement its latest generation software at Global Engine Maintenance India Private Limited (GEM), a wholly owned subsidiary of Global Engine Maintenance LLC USA. GEM is renowned worldwide for its expertise in providing comprehensive maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services for CFM56-7B/-5B/-3 engines.

Ramco’s solution will enable GEM to digitize the entire engine-to-usage service management cycle, accelerating turnaround, enhancing material handling and kitting, and improving tracking and compliance processes. The software includes modules covering Engineering & Technical Publications, Maintenance, MRO Contracts, Pricing & Billing, Part Sales, Supply Chain Management, and Finance & Accounting, creating a unified platform for efficient configuration management, work package oversight, and maintenance execution.

This tailored software for engine MRO operations offers complete visibility over workflows and supply chains, automates regulatory compliance and audit preparation, and connects financial and operational data seamlessly. Features like the Engine Visit Hub, mobile apps for field technicians and warehouse personnel, and live dashboards will help GEM India boost productivity, streamline processes, and move towards paperless operations.

James Ranjith Jeyakumar, General Manager at GEM India, shared, “We sought a software partner capable of streamlining our operations while supporting scalable growth, especially as we expand into full engine overhaul services. Ramco’s strong expertise in engine MRO and their integrated approach made them the right fit. We believe this partnership will help us improve efficiency, control costs, maintain audit readiness, and grow smoothly.”

Sam Jacob, Executive Vice President and Head of Aviation, Aerospace & Defense at Ramco Systems, added, “GEM India’s choice to adopt our software underscores our leadership in engine MRO technology. Our platform is designed to shorten turnaround times, ensure compliance, and strengthen financial oversight. We are excited to work closely with GEM India to help transform their operations and support their growth plans.”
