Quickparts, a long-standing name in on-demand manufacturing, has expanded its “Limitless Manufacturing” vision with a $2.5 million investment in new machinery and facility upgrades at its Seattle headquarters. The improvements formally elevate the site to an Aerospace & Defense Center of Excellence, reinforcing the company’s established capabilities in producing high-fidelity casting patterns and advanced stereolithography (SLA). Alongside this development, the company is extending its Quick Mold offering to customers across North America, following its recent introduction in the EMEA region. The service enables production-grade molded parts to be delivered in as little as five days.

Together, these advancements reflect Quickparts’ push to strengthen U.S. manufacturing through accuracy, rapid delivery, and dependable service. CEO Avi Reichental said the company’s latest step builds on more than three decades of pioneering work in global on-demand manufacturing. He noted that the expansion and new offerings continue a legacy of helping businesses tackle their most demanding production challenges through innovation.

The improvements to the Seattle facility include increased capacity for QuickCast® and next-generation SLA systems, giving the operation greater throughput and consistent, highly accurate output for investment casting patterns. These patterns are essential in applications such as unmanned aircraft, satellite components, propulsion systems, aviation parts, and other defense technologies where precision and repeatability are essential. With these enhancements, Quickparts deepens its 35-year heritage of advanced manufacturing support for critical industries.

Aidan O’Sullivan, Americas President at Quickparts, said the company’s latest investment is aimed at strengthening America’s industrial base. He emphasized that the expanded capabilities in Seattle provide stronger backing for aerospace and defense programs, while tools such as Quick Mold offer accelerated development pathways for medical, automotive, and other innovation-driven sectors.

The North American launch of Quick Mold accompanies the Seattle expansion. The service, which has already gained traction with European customers, gives engineers access to production-quality injection-molded parts in timelines as short as five days. By using rapidly machined aluminum tooling and engineering-grade thermoplastics, Quick Mold helps teams shorten design cycles, test materials earlier in development, and respond faster to program shifts. Customers also benefit from engineering support and design-for-manufacturability expertise.

Quick Mold has already delivered notable results in recent projects, including a one-day turnaround on design changes using PA66 GF50, a four-day cycle for high-stress automotive components, and the redesign, tooling, and molding of a luxury vehicle button in just four days. These outcomes demonstrate Quickparts’ focus on helping manufacturers maintain development velocity even when deadlines are tight.
