Quest Global Engineering Services Limited has been appointed to Babcock International’s Engineering Services Framework under a five-year agreement, expanding the relationship between the two companies across key defence and engineering programmes. The agreement builds on the collaboration between Quest Global and Babcock that began in 2023. Under the expanded relationship, Quest Global will have opportunities to support programmes across Nuclear, Marine, Aviation, Land and Mission Systems.
The framework forms part of Babcock’s wider approach to developing long-term relationships with strategic suppliers. It is expected to create opportunities for Quest Global to contribute engineering expertise to projects focused on operational performance, affordability, resilience and long-term capability.
Quest Global brings multidisciplinary engineering capabilities and experience in supporting complex programmes across multiple industries and geographies. The company will work closely with Babcock and its wider supplier network as projects develop under the framework.
Gareth Watson, Strategic Business Leader, Quest Global, said, “Delivering on national strategic priorities demands more than technical competence. Our work is grounded in building resilience where it matters most, applying engineering expertise with precision, and creating outcomes that hold up under pressure. Long-term value doesn’t emerge from isolated delivery; it comes from partnerships where both sides are committed to raising the standard.”
The five-year framework provides a structured basis for the two companies to deepen their existing relationship and identify opportunities across Babcock’s engineering activities. It also gives Quest Global the opportunity to apply its engineering capabilities to programmes involving critical infrastructure and national defence requirements.
The appointment comes as defence and critical infrastructure organisations place greater emphasis on dependable engineering, operational resilience, cost management and efficient delivery. Long-term supplier relationships are increasingly important in supporting complex programmes where specialist engineering knowledge and consistent execution are required throughout the project lifecycle.
Quest Global’s capabilities cover engineering design, product development, manufacturing engineering, digital engineering and programme support. Its international delivery network enables teams to work across different locations and programme requirements.
The expanded relationship with Babcock strengthens Quest Global’s position in defence engineering and provides a platform for further collaboration across multiple technical areas. The company will continue to work with Babcock to support programmes that require engineering expertise, technical delivery and long-term operational support.
The agreement also reflects the importance of partnerships between specialist engineering providers and organisations delivering major defence and infrastructure programmes. Through the five-year framework, Quest Global and Babcock will have a longer-term structure for identifying and delivering engineering opportunities across the UK and international markets. The appointment further supports Quest Global’s strategy of building long-term customer relationships and contributing engineering capabilities to programmes where reliability, technical performance and resilience are critical.
