Quest Global Engineering Services Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Power Training Institute (NPTI) to introduce a specialised course in Integrated Asset Performance Engineering (IAPE) for oil and gas engineers. The programme aims to equip engineering graduates with practical knowledge and technical skills relevant to industry requirements.
The three-month course is scheduled to begin in the first week of November 2026 at NPTI’s Alappuzha campus. Its curriculum will be jointly developed by industry and academic experts to provide participants with training aligned with the technical needs of oil and gas operations.
The programme will focus on the maintenance, reliability and integrity of static and rotating equipment. These areas are important to the safe and dependable operation of industrial assets across the oil and gas sector. Through specialised training, participants will gain an understanding of engineering practices used to maintain equipment performance and support asset reliability.
Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Engineering (BE.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree and have secured at least 60% marks throughout their academic career. Quest Global will select candidates before they begin the training programme. This selection process is intended to align participants’ capabilities with the technical requirements of relevant engineering roles.
The collaboration brings together Quest Global’s engineering experience and NPTI’s role in energy-sector training and skill development. By combining industry inputs with structured academic instruction, the programme seeks to help bridge the gap between formal engineering education and the practical demands of industrial work.
The course is also intended to strengthen technical preparedness among engineering graduates seeking opportunities in the oil and gas industry. Training in equipment maintenance and reliability can support the development of skills required for asset management and engineering operations.
