profine India Window Technology Pvt Ltd, the Indian subsidiary of Germany’s profine Group and manufacturer of Koemmerling uPVC and aluminium window and door systems, has announced a significant leadership transition effective June 1, 2026. As part of the strategic restructuring, Farid Khan, who has led profine India since its inception, has been appointed Chairman cum Managing Director (CMD). The move recognizes his longstanding contribution to building the company’s operations in India and his expanding responsibilities within the global profine network.
In his new role, Mr Khan will focus on long-term strategic planning, corporate governance, and international business development across South Asia, the Middle East, and other non-European markets. He will continue to oversee his broader responsibilities as Managing Director of profine Middle East and Head of the Group’s non-EU Aluminium Business.
Taking over as Chief Executive Officer is Kamal Bajaj, previously Chief Procurement Officer and Business Head – Aluminium at profine India. Mr Bajaj has played a key role in strengthening the company’s operational capabilities and expanding its aluminium business portfolio. His appointment reflects the organization’s confidence in his ability to guide the company through its next phase of growth and innovation.
Under Mr Khan’s leadership, profine India established a strong manufacturing foundation and built the Koemmerling brand into one of the most recognized names in India’s fenestration industry. The company also expanded beyond uPVC systems into aluminium solutions, broadening its market presence and strengthening its position among architects, builders, fabricators, and project developers.
Mr Bajaj brings extensive experience in procurement, operations, and business management, along with deep familiarity with the company’s culture and strategic priorities. His leadership is expected to support continued expansion while reinforcing profine India’s commitment to quality, innovation, and customer-focused solutions.
