Premier Energies has unveiled a new 1.2 GW TOPCon solar cell production line at its Fab City facility in Hyderabad. The cutting-edge line achieves cell efficiencies exceeding 25%, featuring an advanced 16-busbar design that enhances power density and energy output in real-world conditions.
This addition increases Premier’s total solar cell manufacturing capacity from 2 GW to 3.2 GW. The company plans to further expand, targeting 8.4 GW in cell production and 11.1 GW in module output by June 2026, up from the current 5.1 GW module capacity.
