Portland Bolt & Manufacturing Co, LLC, a leading producer of anchor bolts and construction fasteners, has announced the completion of a significant expansion at its manufacturing facility in North Augusta, South Carolina. The facility’s size has nearly tripled from 25,000 square feet to 62,500 square feet, enhancing production capabilities and strengthening Portland Bolt’s commitment to meeting the growing demand across the Eastern United States.
The expanded facility includes a new hot-dip galvanizing line, which improves the quality and consistency of corrosion protection for Portland Bolt’s products. This addition not only increases the company’s internal production capabilities but also allows it to offer galvanizing services to external customers in industries such as construction, infrastructure, and transportation. Additional upgrades include new cut-threading capabilities for bolts up to 2.5 inches in diameter and new bending and welding operations, enabling Portland Bolt to provide a comprehensive suite of fastener manufacturing services under one roof.
