Pluugin E-commerce, a prominent borderless e-commerce enabler, has officially launched its operations in India. Headquartered in Dubai, UAE, the company already has a robust presence in global markets such as Southeast Asia (SEA), SAARC, and the Middle East & North Africa (MENA). This expansion into India marks a significant milestone in Pluugin’s mission to facilitate brands in scaling up their businesses across international borders.

Founded in 2022, Pluugin E-commerce has experienced a remarkable 100% year-on-year growth, underscoring the growing importance of e-commerce in modern business models. The company’s client roster spans various sectors, including FMCG, consumer electronics, small appliances, health and wellness, personal care, beverages, confectionery, power tools, and baby and mom care, among others.

Pluugin’s comprehensive suite of services includes end-to-end logistics support, supply chain and warehouse management, cross-border payment solutions, marketplace and platform management, risk management and regulations, and data insights and market analysis. These services are designed to provide brands with a thorough understanding of market-brand fit, thereby enabling them to tailor localized solutions effectively.

With the launch of its India office, Pluugin is poised to create over 2,100 jobs in the local market over the next three years. Currently operational in 12 states, the company aims for 100% pan-India coverage within the next 12 months. Additionally, the India office will serve as the backend hub for Pluugin’s operations in Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.

India’s e-commerce market is one of the fastest-growing in the world, expanding its reach beyond metro cities to tier 2 and 3 areas. In 2024, the Indian e-commerce market is estimated at USD 112.93 billion and is expected to reach USD 299.01 billion by 2029.
