Parker Hannifin has expanded its hydraulic solutions portfolio with the launch of the PE06M proportional pressure reducing valve, a new product designed to deliver precise and repeatable pressure control for industrial and mobile hydraulic applications. The valve has been developed to improve system performance, reliability and efficiency across a wide range of demanding operating environments.
The new PE06M is a direct-operated proportional pressure reducing valve featuring a spool design that delivers fast response times, low hysteresis, minimal internal leakage and stable low-pressure control. These characteristics make it suitable for applications requiring accurate hydraulic pressure regulation and consistent machine performance.
Designed for ISO 6264 subplate mounting in an NG06/CETOP 03 configuration, the valve provides pressure control at port A, while an alternative configuration with pressure control at port B is also available. The product supports flow rates of up to 40 litres per minute with a pressure drop of 10 bar and offers a pressure-dependent flow rate of approximately 30 litres per minute. It operates with a maximum inlet pressure of 350 bar, while the control pressure reaches approximately 170 bar. Internal leakage is maintained below 25 cc at 200 bar, helping improve hydraulic efficiency.
To support different equipment designs, Parker offers multiple coil and connector options, including JJJ Deutsch 24V coils with integrated protective diodes and an IP69K protection rating for harsh operating conditions. Additional configurations include DIN, AMP and Deutsch connectors in both 12V and 24V versions, with optional corrosion-resistant surface protection for equipment used in challenging environments.
The PE06M has been designed for a broad range of hydraulic applications. In industrial systems, it can be used for force control and force limitation on hydraulic cylinders, torque control on hydraulic motors and supplying secondary-pressure hydraulic circuits. Parker also identifies hydraulic braking systems used in forestry and mining equipment as key applications for the new valve.
Commenting on the launch, Frank Henschke, ProducParkert Manager at Parker Hannifin, said, “The PE06M offers a flexible solution for applications that require accurate and reliable pressure control. Its fast response, low hysteresis and low leakage make it particularly well suited for hydraulic braking systems as well as industrial machinery where precise force and torque control are critical. These features also help reduce energy losses and improve overall hydraulic system efficiency.”
With the introduction of the PE06M, Parker continues to strengthen its portfolio of advanced hydraulic technologies, providing equipment manufacturers with reliable solutions that improve machine performance, durability and operational efficiency across industrial and mobile applications.
