Methods Machine Tools, Inc, a leading supplier of precision machine tools and automation solutions in North America, has announced the appointment of Jon Casten as Vice President of Aftermarket. In this role, Mr Casten will oversee the company’s aftermarket operations, including technical service, parts distribution, warranty programmes and customer support.
Mr Casten brings more than 25 years of experience in post-sales strategy, service operations and commercial growth. He will lead national and field-based service teams while strengthening parts distribution and support systems to improve response times and customer satisfaction. The company said the appointment reflects its continued focus on enhancing customer support across the lifecycle of installed equipment.
“I am pleased to join Methods at an important stage in its growth,” Mr Casten said. “The company has built a strong reputation for delivering advanced machine tool solutions across North America. With a large installed base, there is a significant opportunity to improve service delivery and strengthen the value we provide to customers over the life of their equipment.”
Rick Alton, Chief Executive Officer of Methods Machine Tools, said Mr Casten’s experience in service strategy and operations would support the company’s growth plans. “Jon has a strong track record of building service organisations that improve customer uptime and drive measurable results,” Alton said. “His leadership will help us expand our aftermarket capabilities and deliver consistent service across our network.”
Before joining Methods, Mr Casten held senior aftermarket leadership roles for more than 15 years, including positions at Terex Corporation and Diploma PLC. He managed multi-site service and parts organisations, improving delivery performance to above 98 percent and increasing customer retention through improved service processes and performance tracking.
