Mazak Corporation will host its DISCOVER MORE WITH MAZAK Open House on March 11–12 at the Dallas Technical Center, offering manufacturers a closer look at technologies designed to boost productivity and precision. The event will highlight equipment suited for motorsports component production, with live demonstrations and applications support for attendees.

Visitors will see several of Mazak’s latest machines in action, including the VARIAXIS i-700T 5-axis machining center, QT-Ez 12MY horizontal turning center, INTEGREX j-200S NEO multi-tasking machine, and the newly introduced SYNCREX 38/9 Swiss-type turning machine. Each system is built to handle complex parts efficiently while reducing setup time and improving accuracy.

Don Miller, Regional General Manager at Mazak, said Dallas is home to many leading manufacturers across multiple industries. He noted that staying competitive requires adopting advanced machining and automation technologies, and the open house provides an opportunity for shops to experience these solutions firsthand with expert guidance.

At the event, the VARIAXIS i-700T will demonstrate simultaneous 5-axis milling and turning in a single platform. Its DONE IN ONE® capability allows complex parts to be machined from raw stock to finished product with fewer setups, helping shorten production cycles. The machine features a high-speed spindle, a compact design, and a rigid tilting rotary table for precise multi-surface machining.

The QT-Ez 12MY turning center is designed for reliable, accurate operation, with a powerful spindle, integral motor headstock, and stable guideway system. Its bed design supports efficient chip flow and continuous automated operation. Programming is simplified through Mazak’s MAZATROL SmoothEz CNC, which supports both G-code and conversational programming.

For high-volume production of small, detailed parts, the SYNCREX 38/9 Swiss-type machine provides a rigid base, improved vibration control, and flexible tooling options. It handles full bar capacity without special preparation and can switch quickly between guide-bushing and chucker modes for different part types.

The INTEGREX j-200S NEO multi-tasking machine features a second spindle for reduced setup time and improved accuracy. It includes high-torque spindles, precise B-axis milling, and thermal compensation technology to maintain stable machining conditions. Paired with Mazak’s Smooth Coolant System, it also improves energy efficiency and reduces maintenance needs.

All machines are supported by Mazak’s MPower customer care programme and factory-direct financing options through Mazak Capital Equipment Financing, helping manufacturers adopt new technology more easily. The Dallas event will provide an opportunity for shops to explore solutions that improve productivity, efficiency, and part quality across a wide range of industries.
