XSIO Industrial & Logistics Parks, in partnership with Blackstone, marked the Bhoomi Pujan and official ground-breaking of Park ONE – NORTH, a new-generation industrial and logistics development situated along the Samruddhi Mahamarg in Wadhgaon, Nagpur. The foundation ceremony was led by Maharashtra’s Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis, joined by senior officials from the state government. This event marks a significant step forward in the ₹5,127 crore agreement signed in May 2025 between XSIO and the Government of Maharashtra.
The investment forms a key part of a ₹2,000 crore FDI-backed program through which XSIO is building four technologically advanced, sustainable industrial and logistics parks across the state. Park ONE – NORTH spans 105 acres and is expected to generate more than 10,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities in the Vidarbha region. Speaking at the event, Chief Minister Shri Fadnavis emphasized that projects of this nature highlight Maharashtra’s commitment to fostering world-class infrastructure beyond major metropolitan centers. He noted that such initiatives drive inclusive development, create large-scale employment, and reinforce Maharashtra’s reputation as a preferred destination for global investors, linking growth with community progress and long-term prosperity.
Designed as a smart, future-ready industrial ecosystem, Park ONE – NORTH aims to achieve net-zero readiness and compliance with leading global ESG benchmarks. It incorporates advanced digital systems such as AI-led operations management and digital-twin platforms, along with solar integration, zero-liquid-discharge water processes, and internationally certified fire and safety infrastructure. The rapid movement from MoU signing to ground-breaking in less than half a year reflects both XSIO’s execution capabilities and the state’s supportive investment policies. This new project builds upon the success of XSIO Park One, an 85-acre flagship development in Central India that already holds IGBC Platinum and EDGE Advanced certifications.
Ashish Agrawal, Managing Director of XSIO Industrial & Logistics Parks, said the start of construction at Park ONE – NORTH captures the pace and ambition behind XSIO’s expansion. He highlighted that transforming global capital into industrial capacity, employment, and regional growth within months has been possible due to the strong collaboration between XSIO, Blackstone, and the Government of Maharashtra. He added that the company is committed to shaping India’s next wave of modern industrial and logistics infrastructure.
