Entering its fourth year, BIG DAISHOWA’s Tools for Schools initiative continues to grow, extending support to the next generation of manufacturing professionals. From November 3, 2025, to January 30, 2026, the company will provide a tooling certificate worth 20 percent of every qualifying order, allowing customers to direct the value to the school of their choice. These certificates can be redeemed for any BIG DAISHOWA products, including premium tool holders, boring and cutting tools, workholding solutions and presetters.

Over its first three years, the program has distributed nearly $70,000 in tooling certificates to high schools, vocational institutions, colleges and universities. Jack Burley, President and COO of BIG DAISHOWA, noted that the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to developing a strong, skilled manufacturing workforce. He stated that the program helps inspire students by giving them exposure to the same precision tools they will use professionally.

Program participation requires a minimum order of $5,000, which earns a $1,000 tooling certificate. Customers can join by placing orders through local distributors, requesting “Drop ship from BIG DAISHOWA,” and including “PROMO-BD-SCHOOLS” as a line item.

BIG DAISHOWA provides an extensive lineup of precision tooling, workholding and tool management solutions designed to reduce both machining time and cost per part. Popular offerings include face mill holders, end mill holders, collet chucks, angle heads and tapping adaptors, along with the industry-leading KAISER Boring System, Sphinx high-performance drills and UNILOCK workholding systems. The company also supplies CAT, BT, HSK and BIG Capto systems.
