Luminis Forms Strategic Partnership with ForvisMazars in India to Advance Microbiome-Based Agricultural Technologies

Luminis, a biotechnology company specialising in microbiome intelligence and precision agriculture, has entered into a strategic partnership with ForvisMazars in India, a global provider of audit, tax, and advisory services. This collaboration is designed to strengthen Luminis’ initiatives in aquaculture and expand its offerings into India’s soil microbiome and broader agricultural sectors.

The partnership was facilitated by Nalanda Capital Partners, which serves as Luminis’ strategic and capital advisory firm. Nalanda Capital continues to support Luminis in scaling its biological data and microbiome-based technologies into actionable solutions for agriculture and related industries.

Through this alliance, Luminis will deploy its Omni Biome AI platform and genomics-based tools to address key agricultural challenges such as soil degradation, yield inconsistency, crop diseases, and climate-induced stresses. The company also aims to reduce antibiotic usage in agriculture while sustaining productivity levels.

Rachelle Jensen, Chief Executive Officer of Luminis, stated that the collaboration integrates advanced scientific capabilities, sectoral networks, and financial backing to introduce data-driven microbiome solutions tailored for Indian agricultural systems. Luminis is also investing in the development of genomic data infrastructure using Next Generation Sequencing and AI technologies, with plans for large-scale deployment across India’s agri-food value chain.
