LTM, the business creativity partner to large enterprises, has launched GCC Origin, a dedicated business unit to help companies establish, operate, expand and transform Global Capability Centres (GCCs) in India. The new unit responds to changing enterprise requirements as artificial intelligence becomes more central to GCC operations. LTM said companies increasingly need centres that can develop business capabilities and deliver value from the outset, rather than focusing mainly on cost reduction.

GCC Origin will operate as a standalone business unit within LTM, with dedicated leadership, sales and delivery teams, specialist expertise and investment. Shailendra Singh has been appointed to lead the unit and will report to Venu Lambu, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of LTM.

The business combines strategy, AI, technology, talent, infrastructure, operations and ecosystem partnerships under one model. Its services cover site selection, workplace planning, infrastructure, operational readiness and turnkey facilities in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities. The offering is powered by BlueVerse, LTM’s agentic AI ecosystem, and is designed to help companies establish new GCCs or make existing centres AI-native.

“Enterprises no longer set up GCCs only to cut costs; they want them to create value from day one and own capabilities that shape the business,” Mr Lambu said. He added that GCC Origin’s modular approach would allow clients to build, operate and transform centres according to their priorities.

The unit will offer services across the GCC lifecycle, allowing companies to select a complete package or individual capabilities based on their requirements. Engagement models include Assisted GCC, Build-Operate-Transform-Transfer, Virtual GCC, joint ventures, staff augmentation and Hire-Operate-Transfer.

Its services include strategy and advisory support for location selection, operating models, governance, commercial arrangements and ownership structures. Talent services use LTM platforms such as Talent Pool Radar, TalentInsights and LTM Shoshin to support recruitment, workforce management and continuous learning.

For AI adoption and automation, GCC Origin will use BlueVerse, which includes more than 300 pre-built, domain-specific AI agents alongside customised agents. The offering also includes AI Centres of Excellence, innovation-as-a-service and the Automate suite, powered by Agent Next. Clients will have access to LTM’s AI studios in the United States, Europe and India.

The unit will also manage IT and business operations, transitions, governance, knowledge management, finance, tax, payroll and workplace services. Transfer arrangements can cover talent, technology, knowledge, infrastructure, capabilities and operational ownership, depending on each client’s chosen model.

LTM, a Larsen & Toubro Group company, is an AI-centric technology services provider. It works with enterprises across technology, transformation, integrated operations and business AI. The company has more than 88,000 employees across 40 countries and works with a global network of partners.
