L&T-SuFin, India’s leading B2B e-commerce platform, is on track to reach an annualized Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) of $1 billion by FY26. As of July 2025, SuFin has achieved a Year-To-Date GMV of $215 million, reflecting a remarkable growth of over 2.35 times from $91 million in July 2024. The platform now offers more than 50 product categories and over 750,000 Stock Keeping Units (SKUs), serving 60,000+ businesses across India.

Launched by L&T in March 2022, SuFin is part of the conglomerate’s broader initiative to foster and scale innovative new-age businesses. The name “SuFin” merges ‘supply chain’ and ‘finance’, reflecting the platform’s focus on simplifying B2B trade, especially for the industrial and construction sectors.

SuFin’s e-commerce platform is accessible through desktop, mobile app, and WhatsApp, enabling micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to reach businesses across India. The platform provides a secure environment and ensures liquidity, making procurement of commodities, consumables, and MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) products easy, transparent, and cost-effective. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) feature allows businesses to compare products and prices quickly.

Additionally, SuFin partners with financial institutions to offer working capital financing for buyers and sellers. This transaction-specific funding is quick to access, helps buyers secure cash discounts, and ensures prompt payment to sellers, complementing traditional credit lines. “We are now preparing for international expansion. With L&T’s global reach, we aim to further grow SuFin’s presence across markets,” said Bhadresh Pathak, CEO of L&T-SuFin.

SuFin’s unique digital system provides a reliable way to assess the trustworthiness of trade partners. The “TRUST Seal” helps buyers and sellers evaluate the creditworthiness, business ethics, and qualitative aspects of their counterparts, fostering a secure trading environment.

SuFin also offers logistics support, ensuring delivery across 21,000+ postal codes in India. The platform operates on a unique model where there is no working capital, no credit, and no outstanding payments, which makes it both sustainable and scalable. In 2025, SuFin also launched its own line of private-label safety products, which have been well-received in the market.

“SuFin is a cornerstone of our Lakshya strategy, focused on growing new-age businesses and increasing their share in L&T’s overall revenue,” said D K Sen, Advisor to the Chairman & MD, who played a key role in conceptualizing the business. “With its impressive growth trajectory, SuFin is well-positioned to reach $1 billion GMV by FY26.”
