Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) Buildings & Factories (B&F) business has won several significant contracts across India, strengthening its order book in the institutional, sports, and residential segments. One of the key orders comes from the Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation for the construction of Advait Lok, a large museum complex dedicated to Acharya Shankar, at Omkareshwar in Khandwa district.
Executed on an engineering, procurement and construction basis, the project includes development of a global-standard museum featuring intricate stone craftsmanship and glass fibre reinforced concrete architectural elements. The scope covers civil and structural works, architectural finishes, mechanical, electrical and plumbing services, external infrastructure including parking, and five years of operations and maintenance. The project is scheduled for completion within 36 months.
In another win, the B&F business has received an EPC contract from the Government of Assam for the redevelopment of the R G Baruah Sports Complex at Sarusajai in Guwahati. The project involves building a FIFA-compliant football stadium with seating for 25,000 spectators, along with associated sports and support facilities. The construction timeline for this project is 27 months.
Additionally, L&T has secured an order from a leading private developer for the construction of premium high-rise residential towers in Mumbai. The project includes three towers with multiple basement levels, a ground floor, and between 45 and 66 upper floors. The scope comprises reinforced concrete shell and core structures, high-end finishes, and full MEP services, with the towers reaching heights of up to 230 metres.
