Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T), through its Hydrocarbon Business division (L&T Energy Hydrocarbon – LTEH), has been awarded an Ultra Mega Offshore Contract by Qatar Energy LNG, the global leader in LNG. This contract, the largest ever in L&T’s history, is for the North Field Production Sustainability Offshore Compression Project (NFPS COMP 4).
The scope of the contract includes comprehensive work on two offshore compression complexes. These complexes will each feature large offshore platforms with compression and power generation facilities, living quarters, flare platforms, interconnected bridges, and other essential infrastructure, all to be installed approximately 80 kilometers off the northeast coast of Qatar.
