Lohum and Stride Green have formed a partnership to make financing electric vehicles (EVs) easier by managing the value of EV batteries. Lohum will help Stride Green provide its partners with recycling and reuse solutions for EV batteries.

This will ensure that when the batteries reach the end of their life, they are valued correctly, reducing CO2 emissions and extracting more value from the batteries. This plan covers up to 5,000 electric vehicles over the next few years.

Lohum’s technology will help Stride Green manage the risk of battery value loss, helping them grow in the market. Chetan Jain, Senior Vice President of Lohum, praised Stride Green’s commitment to using deep-tech innovations to support clean energy transitions.

Vivek Jain, Co-founder of Stride Green, said the partnership will improve their battery lifecycle management and support their environmental goals by using Lohum’s advanced technologies. This agreement aims to promote sustainable electric mobility and innovative energy solutions in India while reducing the need for raw materials from mining, which has high environmental and human costs.

Lohum is an innovative company dedicated to advancing battery recycling and sustainable energy solutions. Focused on the reuse and recycling of lithium-ion batteries, Lohum aims to create a circular economy in the battery industry. The company employs advanced technologies to extract valuable materials from used batteries, ensuring that they can be reused in the production of new batteries.

By doing so, Lohum not only reduces the environmental impact of battery disposal but also addresses the growing demand for sustainable energy storage solutions. Through its commitment to innovation and sustainability, Lohum is helping to pave the way for a greener future.
