Specialty chemicals manufacturer LANXESS is presenting its comprehensive portfolio for the paints and coatings sector at Paint India 2026, taking place from February 19 to 21 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon, Mumbai. At Hall 6, Booth R-16, the company is featuring products designed to improve durability, protection and finish quality in a wide range of coating applications, while meeting evolving environmental and regulatory standards.

Water-based paint formulations are susceptible to contamination by bacteria, fungi and yeast, which can compromise product quality. To address this, LANXESS offers a selection of biocides and preservatives that help maintain stability during storage and safeguard dry film surfaces from algae, mold and mildew.

The portfolio on display includes Preventol®, Kathon®, Bioban®, Biox®, Rocima® and Sea Nine®, developed to extend shelf life and maintain formulation integrity. LANXESS manufactures inorganic pigments used globally across construction, coatings and plastics industries. Its synthetic iron oxide and chromium oxide pigments are known for strong colour intensity, consistency, UV resistance, weather durability and long-term stability. At the exhibition, the company is highlighting its Bayferrox® and Colortherm® pigment ranges.

The company also supplies specialty additives that enhance the performance characteristics of paints, adhesives and construction materials. These include flame retardants, plasticisers, coalescing agents and colourant additives that contribute to improved application properties, safety standards and product lifespan. Featured solutions include brands such as K-flex®, Vitroflex®, Adimoll®, Unimoll®, Mesamoll®, Ultramoll®, Modulast®, Triacetin, Disflamoll®, Reofos®, Amgard®, Firemaster®, PHT4®, Emerald Innovation®, Stabaxol®, Addocat®, Addolink®, Bayfast®, Levanyl®, Levanox® and Bayscript®.
