KPIT Technologies GmbH, a German arm of India-based KPIT Technologies Limited, has increased its investment in its Tunisian unit by €1.37 million. The capital infusion into KPIT engineering SUARL was confirmed following official registration from Tunisia’s National Company Register.
As part of the transaction, 451,110 new shares were issued to KPIT Germany. The company clarified that the investment is internal in nature and will not affect operations or alter the financial reporting of the parent entity in India.
Established in May 2023 and based in Sfax, KPIT engineering SUARL functions as a nearshore development hub for Technica GmbH, its sole client. The subsidiary currently employs 574 professionals, focusing on software engineering and technical services.
The investment is categorized as a related-party transaction, given that KPIT Tunisia is entirely owned by KPIT Germany. The company stated that none of its promoters, promoter group members, or directors hold any interest in this deal. Details of the investment were shared in a regulatory filing with BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India, in accordance with SEBI’s disclosure requirements under Regulation 30.
