KPIT Sparkle 2025: Future Mobility Solutions Shine as Students Present Over 1,300 Ideas

KPIT Technologies, a global leader in developing advanced mobility solutions, revealed the winners of its prestigious innovation competition, KPIT Sparkle 2025, which invites undergraduate engineering students from across the world to present groundbreaking ideas. This year, the contest attracted over 28,000 students from 731 colleges, with more than 1,300 ideas submitted across ten distinct themes.

KPIT Sparkle continues to serve as a powerful platform for young innovators, enabling them to present futuristic ideas that address pressing global challenges related to sustainability, electrification, autonomous technology, and cybersecurity. After seven months of thorough evaluation, six finalist teams emerged with promising projects, each demonstrating the potential to revolutionize the mobility and energy industries. The finalists’ innovations ranged from AI-powered autonomous vehicles to next-gen energy storage solutions, sustainable emission control systems, and cybersecurity advancements, highlighting the significant potential for transformation in these fields.

The Gold Award for KPIT Sparkle 2025 went to RYM Genergy from GD Goenka University, Gurgaon, who took home Rs 700,000 for their groundbreaking project, Ultron—an advanced energy storage system designed to meet the needs of both electric vehicles (EVs) and power backup systems, utilizing Uni-polar Programmed Supercapacitors (UPPSC) technology.

Over the past 11 years, KPIT Sparkle has engaged with more than 120,000 students, motivating them to push the boundaries of mobility and energy. The exponential growth in participation this year, coupled with the creativity of the ideas presented, reaffirms our belief in the ability of young minds to create cleaner, smarter, and safer mobility solutions. The innovations displayed this year—spanning AI-driven vehicles to next-gen energy storage technologies—indicate that we are on the verge of a major shift in mobility and energy.”
