Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL) has secured new orders and a letter of comfort worth approximately ₹2,031 crore in its power transmission and distribution (T&D) business across India and international markets. Its Swedish subsidiary, Linjemontage i Grästorp AB, has also received an order valued at approximately ₹194 crore, or SEK 200 million. Together, the wins amount to around ₹2,225 crore.
The latest orders reflect demand for transmission infrastructure, grid expansion and renewable energy integration in India and overseas markets. KPIL provides engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for power transmission and distribution projects, including infrastructure supporting electricity networks.
Manish Mohnot, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of KPIL, said the new orders reflected customer confidence in the company’s execution capabilities and technical expertise. He added that investments in transmission infrastructure, grid expansion and renewable energy integration were supporting opportunities across domestic and international markets.
Mr Mohnot said KPIL’s integrated EPC capabilities positioned the company to participate in this demand. He also noted that the company had secured orders worth approximately ₹20,000 crore so far in the current financial year, FY27, representing year-on-year growth of more than 30%. The order inflows, he said, supported the company’s confidence in achieving its targeted growth.
The orders strengthen KPIL’s position in the transmission and distribution segment, which plays an important role in expanding grid capacity and connecting renewable energy generation to electricity networks. The company operates across domestic and international markets, providing engineering and construction services for power and other infrastructure projects.
KPIL is one of the large global engineering, procurement and construction companies, with operations spanning 75 countries. Its portfolio includes power transmission and distribution, buildings and factories, water supply and treatment, railways, oil and gas infrastructure, urban mobility, highways and airports.
The company also operates two manufacturing facilities in India that produce power transmission towers, heavy metal structures, scaffolding and formwork systems. These facilities support its infrastructure project activities and related manufacturing requirements.
In FY2026, KPIL reported revenue of ₹27,143 crore, equivalent to approximately US$2.9 billion. It had more than 250 projects under execution across over 30 countries, reflecting the scale of its domestic and international operations. The latest order announcements add to KPIL’s order inflows for FY27 and come amid continued investment in electricity transmission networks and infrastructure development. The company’s T&D business remains a key part of its EPC portfolio, supported by projects in India and overseas markets.
Linjemontage, KPIL’s Swedish subsidiary, contributes to the group’s international operations. Its latest order of approximately SEK 200 million adds to the group’s transmission and distribution business activity outside India. KPIL said its order momentum and integrated EPC offerings position it to pursue further opportunities in power infrastructure and other sectors. The company continues to operate across multiple infrastructure segments, providing project engineering, construction and manufacturing capabilities for customers in India and international markets.
