Kaiser Aluminum Corporation (NASDAQ: KALU) has announced the appointment of Hugh (Jack) J Barger III as Executive Vice President – Sales and Marketing, effective January 1, 2026. The appointment forms part of the Company’s planned leadership succession, with Mr Barger set to assume the responsibilities currently held by Blain A Tiffany, who is expected to retire.
Mr Barger joined Kaiser Aluminum in June 2025 as Senior Vice President – Sales and Marketing and has since taken on increasing leadership responsibility within the Company’s commercial organization. Commenting on the appointment, Keith A Harvey, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, said:
“Since joining Kaiser Aluminum, Jack has steadily expanded his leadership role as part of our structured transition plan. His industry knowledge, leadership experience, and strategic perspective position him well to step into Blain’s role and continue advancing our commercial objectives.”
Mr Barger brings more than 25 years of experience in the metals industry. Prior to joining Kaiser Aluminum, he served as President of Central Steel & Wire from 2021 to 2024 and previously held the role of Vice President of Sales at the same company. Earlier in his career, he held progressively senior leadership positions at AM Castle & Company.
