Jyoti Global Plast Limited has announced the formation of a new joint venture with DroneIQ Aeronext LLP to offer drone-enabled services across India. The newly established company, Jyoti Aeronext Pvt Ltd (or any other name approved by the Central Registration Centre), will focus on providing Drone-as-a-Service (DAAS) solutions for a broad range of civilian and commercial applications.
The partnership reflects the growing adoption of drone technology across industries such as infrastructure inspection, urban services, media, and industrial monitoring. Through this venture, the two companies aim to combine manufacturing capabilities with operational expertise to build scalable drone service offerings for enterprise and institutional customers.
Jyoti Global Plast has already established a presence in the Drone-as-a-Product (DAAP) segment, where it develops and manufactures lightweight drone structures and related components. With the launch of the joint venture, the company is expanding its role in the drone ecosystem by moving beyond hardware manufacturing into drone-enabled services.
The new venture will bring together Jyoti Global Plast’s engineering and production capabilities with DroneIQ Aeronext’s experience in operating drone-based services. This collaboration is expected to create an integrated platform capable of delivering reliable and compliant drone operations for a variety of industrial and commercial uses.
Deven Shah, Whole-Time Director and Chief Executive Officer of Jyoti Global Plast Limited, said the company sees significant opportunity in the rapidly evolving drone sector. “The drone industry in India is entering a period of strong expansion driven by supportive government policies and increasing industry adoption,” Mr Shah said. “With the creation of Jyoti Aeronext, we are taking the next step in our journey by extending our capabilities from manufacturing drone components to delivering complete drone-based services. By combining our engineering strengths with Aeronext’s operational expertise, we aim to develop scalable solutions that can serve multiple industries while supporting the growth of India’s civilian drone ecosystem.”
Aryan K Saha, Designated Partner at DroneIQ Aeronext LLP, noted that organizations across sectors are increasingly turning to drones to improve operational efficiency and safety. “Drone technology is rapidly transforming the way companies conduct inspections, monitor infrastructure, and capture aerial data,” Saha said. “The joint venture allows us to combine our operational experience with Jyoti Global Plast’s manufacturing expertise to accelerate the deployment of advanced drone services for enterprises throughout the country.”
During its initial phase, the joint venture will focus on several high-potential applications. These include high-rise façade inspection and cleaning, infrastructure and industrial facility inspections, security and surveillance operations, and aerial advertising and media services. Drone technology offers significant advantages in these areas by reducing the need for manual inspections, improving worker safety, and lowering operational costs.
The companies believe the DAAS model will make drone capabilities more accessible to organizations that require aerial data or inspection services but do not wish to invest in building in-house drone fleets and operational teams. The venture also plans to work closely with regulatory authorities and industry stakeholders to ensure that drone operations remain compliant with national aviation guidelines and safety standards.
