JK Tyre & Industries Limited, one of India’s leading tyre manufacturers, has announced its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, reporting a resilient performance despite rising raw material costs and global market challenges. The company posted a consolidated turnover of ₹3,956 crore during the quarter, supported by healthy demand across both replacement and original equipment (OE) segments.
Domestic tyre volumes grew 25 percent compared with the same period last year, led by a 12 percent increase in the replacement market and a strong 42 percent rise in the OE segment. The growing contribution of premium and value-added products also supported overall business performance. Consolidated EBITDA for the quarter stood at ₹268 crore.
Commenting on the results, Dr Raghupati Singhania, Chairman and Managing Director of JK Tyre & Industries Limited, said the company maintained steady growth during the quarter through a strong focus on customers, product quality and disciplined execution across markets. He noted that demand remained healthy across key segments and the company’s premium product portfolio continued to gain traction.
Dr Singhania said the ongoing crisis in West Asia resulted in a sharp increase in raw material prices, affecting gross and operating margins. Since nearly 70 percent of the tyre industry’s raw materials are derived from petroleum products, the sector remains highly sensitive to fluctuations in crude oil prices.
Looking ahead, he said JK Tyre remains confident of delivering double-digit revenue growth during FY27. The company plans to improve profitability by strengthening operating leverage, reducing costs, expanding its premium product portfolio and pursuing strategic growth initiatives across its businesses.
JK Tyre continued to strengthen its position as a sustainability-focused manufacturer during the quarter. The company follows robust environmental, safety and compliance standards across its operations and remains committed to responsible business practices. It was once again recognised among the “Best Workplaces in the Auto and Auto Components Industry 2026” by Great Place to Work, reflecting its continued focus on employee engagement and workplace excellence.
Part of the JK Organisation, JK Tyre ranks among the world’s top 20 tyre manufacturers and operates 11 manufacturing facilities across India and Mexico with an annual production capacity of more than 38 million tyres. The company serves customers through a network of over 6,000 dealers and more than 900 exclusive brand outlets while exporting its products to over 100 countries. Backed by continuous investment in research, innovation and sustainable manufacturing, JK Tyre remains focused on strengthening its leadership across domestic and international markets.
