Iveco Group NV has announced a planned transition in its senior leadership, confirming that Chief Financial & IT Officer Anna Tanganelli will step down from her role following the substantive completion of the public tender offer for the company by Tata Motors. The transition is scheduled to take effect on November 2, 2026, when Tanganelli will assume a new position with another publicly listed company.
The company stated that the leadership change has been mutually agreed upon and forms part of an orderly succession plan designed to ensure continuity during a significant period for the business. Tanganelli will continue to serve in her current role over the coming months, supporting the completion of the ongoing transaction and ensuring a smooth handover of responsibilities.
Iveco Group also confirmed that the search for a new Chief Financial Officer is already in progress. The company said it is conducting a comprehensive selection process and will announce the appointment of its next CFO once the process has been completed.
Commenting on the announcement, Iveco Group Chief Executive Officer Olof Persson expressed appreciation for Ms Tanganelli’s contributions during her tenure with the company. “We thank Anna for her valued contributions during her tenure as our CFO, and in particular for her work on the transformative transactions we announced last year and are in the process of completing. We wish her every success in her future role and until then will continue to benefit from her expertise during the coming months,” Persson said.
During her time as Chief Financial & IT Officer, Ms Tanganelli played an important role in strengthening the company’s financial operations and supporting key strategic initiatives. Her leadership has been instrumental in advancing major corporate transactions and maintaining financial discipline as Iveco Group navigates a period of transformation. The company emphasized that business operations will continue as usual throughout the leadership transition, with the executive team remaining focused on executing strategic priorities, supporting customers and stakeholders, and ensuring operational stability.
The announcement comes at a pivotal stage for Iveco Group as it moves forward with the proposed acquisition process involving Tata Motors. The company reiterated its commitment to maintaining strong governance and a seamless leadership transition while continuing to deliver on its long-term business objectives.
