Innovative Aerosystems has announced a strategic expansion of its electrical power systems capabilities through an agreement with Honeywell International Inc.. The transaction grants Innovative Aerosystems an exclusive perpetual license covering key assets related to Honeywell’s aircraft power generator systems.
The agreement includes intellectual property, customer contracts, production and repair rights, as well as program assets supporting both original equipment manufacturing (OEM) and aftermarket services. Additionally, Innovative Aerosystems has acquired specialized tooling, testing equipment, and technical data necessary to support critical electrical power systems.
These systems are currently deployed on major aviation platforms, including the Boeing 767, the KC-46 Pegasus, and the F-15 Eagle. They play an essential role in generating and managing onboard electrical power, ensuring reliable operation of avionics, flight controls, and communication systems throughout all phases of flight.
According to CEO Shahram Askarpour, the move strengthens the company’s position as a long-term lifecycle partner for both commercial and defense operators.
