IndoSpace, India’s leading provider of supply chain infrastructure, has opened a 66-acre logistics park in Bhiwandi, near Mumbai. The park features a mix of ready-to-use facilities and build-to-suit (BTS) solutions to cater to diverse business needs, with a total planned investment of USD 57 million.

This marks IndoSpace’s continued focus on Maharashtra, where it has already committed USD 330 million to enhance logistics and industrial infrastructure. The Bhiwandi park is expected to boost warehousing capacity in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, create local employment, and strengthen regional supply chain connectivity.

Anshuman Singh, MD & CEO of IndoSpace, said, “Our new Bhiwandi park underscores our commitment to building India’s logistics backbone. As consumption patterns, manufacturing, and trade evolve, high-quality infrastructure is key. We remain focused on delivering operationally efficient and sustainable facilities that support India’s long-term growth.”

Bhiwandi, a well-established warehousing hub, benefits from excellent connectivity to Mumbai, Thane, Pune, and the Mumbai–Nagpur Samruddhi Expressway. With a development potential of 1.7 million sq. ft, the park is suited for e-commerce, FMCG, 3PL, automotive, and electronics companies. It includes ESG-aligned infrastructure, green spaces, and sustainability certifications.

Maharashtra continues to be a key growth market for warehousing and logistics. In H1 2025, India recorded 32.1 million sq. ft of leasing activity, a 42% YoY increase, with Mumbai contributing 7.5 million sq. ft — up 63% YoY. Bhiwandi remains a crucial logistics node supporting this growth.
