Hindustan Zinc has received four major recognitions at the 13th SABRE Awards Southeast Asia 2026, reinforcing its growing reputation for strategic brand communications. The company won two Gold SABRE Awards, one Diamond SABRE, and secured a place among Southeast Asia’s Top 5 Campaigns, marking one of the strongest performances by an Indian business-to-business company in the metals and mining sector.
The awards recognise excellence in strategic communications, reputation management and brand storytelling across the region. Hindustan Zinc’s achievements highlight its ability to build campaigns that connect with diverse audiences while addressing important industry and social themes.
The company received two Gold SABRE Awards for its #ZincKeKhilafZinc campaign in the Integrated Marketing and Southeast Asia categories. The campaign focused on increasing awareness of zinc’s contribution to everyday life by explaining its role in galvanisation, one of the metal’s most important industrial applications. By combining technical knowledge with relatable storytelling, the campaign demonstrated how zinc contributes to infrastructure, public health, and national development while making complex industrial concepts accessible to a wider audience.
Hindustan Zinc also received the prestigious Diamond SABRE for Reputation Management for its #SheKnowsTheGroundSheStandsOn campaign. The initiative highlighted the experiences of women working across mining operations, including underground mining, heavy equipment operations, and technical leadership roles. By sharing authentic stories from within its workforce, the campaign challenged conventional perceptions of the mining industry and reinforced the company’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunities.
Recognition at the SABRE Awards reflects Hindustan Zinc’s broader approach to corporate communications, where business messaging is increasingly supported by purpose-driven initiatives that resonate with employees, customers, industry stakeholders, and the wider public. The awards also demonstrate how strategic communications are becoming an important element in strengthening the reputation of industrial organisations operating in highly technical sectors.
The company’s inclusion among Southeast Asia’s Top 5 Campaigns further underlines the regional impact of its communications programmes and positions Hindustan Zinc among leading brands recognised for creativity, effectiveness, and reputation management.
