Hettich, a global leader in furniture fittings, has inaugurated its newly redesigned Experience Centre in Kolkata, reinforcing its focus on design-led solutions and customer engagement in eastern India. The centre was inaugurated by Andre Eckholt, Managing Director, Hettich India, SAARC, Middle East & Africa, along with Saroj Poddar, Chairman, Adventz Group and Hettich India.
The refreshed Experience Centre showcases Hettich’s extensive range of interior solutions, including precision-engineered German furniture fittings, architectural door hardware, furniture lighting systems, and built-in kitchen appliances. Designed as an interactive environment, the space enables homeowners, architects, and designers to explore practical applications and product integrations in real-world settings.
Customers can also access complimentary design assistance and on-site consultation services, ensuring customised recommendations tailored to individual project requirements.
Speaking at the launch, Andre Eckholt noted that Kolkata’s growing design sensibility aligns with Hettich’s 25-year journey in India. He added that the upgraded centre reflects the company’s commitment to combining functionality, aesthetics, and engineering expertise to enhance everyday living spaces.
Saroj Poddar highlighted the long-standing partnership between Hettich and the Poddar Group, emphasising steady growth built on shared values and market understanding. He said the Kolkata centre would serve as a practical hub where ideas can be transformed into workable interior solutions.
Founded 138 years ago, Hettich operates globally with annual revenues exceeding €1.5 billion. Since entering India at the turn of the millennium, the company has established a strong presence in the furniture fittings segment. This year marks 25 years of its operations in the country under the theme “Built to Lead.”
