Hero MotoCorp, the global leader in motorcycle and scooter manufacturing, has reinforced its commitment to Nepal with the inauguration of a new product assembly facility in collaboration with its authorized distributor, CG Motors. This strategic move underscores Hero MotoCorp’s ambitious business plans and dedication to expanding its footprint in the region.
The inauguration ceremony marked the commencement of operations at the state-of-the-art assembly facility, situated in the CG Industrial Park in Nawalparasi, Nepal. Hero MotoCorp unveiled four of its globally renowned products, including the Xpulse 200 4V, Super Splendor, Splendor+ motorcycles, and the Xoom 110 scooter. These products will now be assembled locally, leveraging the new facility’s advanced infrastructure.
With a production capacity of 75,000 units per annum, the assembly unit is poised to inject new investments into the region while generating employment opportunities for local communities. CG Motors, in partnership with Hero MotoCorp, plans to swiftly expand its sales and service network across Nepal, catering to the burgeoning customer base.

The strategically located facility in Nawalparasi aims to streamline product distribution across Nepal, ensuring swift availability nationwide. Concurrently, CG Motors is rapidly expanding its sales and service network, with plans to establish over 100 outlets within the next three months, starting with the flagship showroom in Kathmandu.
